PINK ‘Beautiful Trauma’ Tour | Lifestyle

The wait for Pink was worth it.

Pink cancelled her Toronto concert back in May due to a cold and postponed until the end. SO worth the wait. I’ve never seen her live before but she has such powerhouse vocals. Now that she’s so into the aerial acrobatics and dance, I’m sure the show is completely different from earlier years.

Pink is an artist that I grew up with.

She’s one that I appreciated a little more as I got older and in high school. Now she’s such an incredible role model for the upcoming generations and I was so excited to see her live.

She played an amazing setlist, and it was amazing to see her acrobatic performance live. I’m so glad that she played at least one song from each of her main albums. She opened with ‘Get This Party Started’ which is probably the best song to get people amped up. It’s such a classic.

And from there she just kept the energy going. She sang 25 songs, chatted with the crowd a little, had a bunch of outfit changes, and did aerial acrobatics to at least 4 songs. She sang some of her newest stuff (Hustle Me), and some of her oldest (Like A Pill).

A couple of different artists came on stage to guest sing with her, like Wrabel. City and Colour also came out to play a couple of the songs from their Rose Ave. collab album.

Pink didn’t sing my favourite song but she sang some favourites that I’d kind of forgotten about (Try and Who Knew). One of the highlights was when she sang ‘River’ – a Bishop Briggs cover. I absolutely love Bishop and Pink so I think it’s a collab that needs to happen in the future! She killed it too.

I always find it interesting to see the demographic that an artist has at a show.

Pink definitely is multigenerational and still going strong. There were couples in their 60s beside this group of moms and daughters. The girls were no older than 11 if that. The one little girl was living her best life, singing and dancing to every song. And it’s definitely all-ages friendly. Pink sang mostly radio-edit versions of her songs with a few exceptions but no F-bombs.

It does make me a little sad that I won’t have a little girl that I can attend concerts with. I’m hoping that my boys will want to go, but not holding my breath.

She’s definitely worth the money and I would go see her again in a heartbeat. Worth the cost of a babysitter!

Have you seen her live? Let me know.
