The best thing about the holidays is the candles!
I got my reel up about these scents from The Jones Lounge a couple of weeks ago, but the holiday season craziness has fully kicked in here and writing has been sparse.
I don’t know about you, but does this season seem crazier than last year? Thinking about it, I remember why. Last year Andrew and I took the family to Mexico for 3 weeks and decided Christmas wasn’t “happening”. So we didn’t get a tree, decorate anything, or host anything. It was not a bad way to spend the pre-holiday season.
But that was how I started talking with Amanda, from The Jones Lounge! I was ordering long-distance and arranging a pick-up (by my mom) and it’s grown from there. It’s been amazing to see her grow as a small business!!!
And this year is no different. She’s been hitting up a ton of pop-up markets and she has a few new scents for the holidays that she sold there. I still haven’t burnt any yet, because I’m not sure if I’m finished taking photos and videos yet, but I’m about to cave now that Christmas is around the corner.
Three New Scents (and a Fan Favourite)
Holiday Slice
I’m almost done burning this one – it was on deck for the holiday season. This smells delicious and adds a little baking smell to the kitchen without being overwhelmingly sweet.
Putting Up the Tree
It smells just like walking into a pine forest and I’m loving it. It’s not overwhelming but I still need to burn it to make sure it won’t irritate my allergies.
Feeling Festive (Might Delete)
This one feels like it shouldn’t work, but somehow it does. I’m the most curious to burn this one because sometimes the smell isn’t quite the same. It still boggles my brain as to how she came up with this combination and the idea to put them all together!
Vanilla Bean Patisserie
The fan favourite. Nothing like a sugar cookie scent to brighten up the holidays and make everyone happy. I’m currently burning this one from last year, so it’s nice to have the replacement ready to go.
Up and Coming
I love the darker jars she’s using now! They look so pretty when they burn, such a warm glow. I’m so grateful for her gifting these to me for the holiday season. I believe that her pop-up days are over until the spring/summer but you can definitely message her on Instagram and order online. Sounds like she’s bringing some new items to her line-up and possibly bringing some old scents back!
