100 Day Celebration for Eli | Mom Life

It’s not quite 100 days, but it was pretty close to the Full Moon, so win!

100 day,

This past weekend we celebrated Eli being in this world for almost 100 days (he’s really only 70 days – close enough!). We did one for Kaiden as well, but I apparently didn’t write or post about it! Whoops.

We invited a lot of people like always. Andrew is notorious for inviting pretty much everyone that he meets and then promptly forgets who he all invited. This was the first time that we had a list of people that had actually RSVP’d and everyone showed.

It was such a great day.

deep-fried wontons, 100 day,

We woke up to pouring rain that thankfully cleared up around 9.30 and didn’t come back at all. We lucked out for sure! It was almost too hot but I’m not going to complain about that. We prepped most of the food earlier in the week so only had little things to put together on the day of.

We had Chinese noodles and fried rice that my dad made, deep-fried wontons, beef satay, chicken, lamb spieducci, veggies, chips and dip. It was a real spread! Lots of food to go around.

And then there was cake!

100 day, cake

This is the ultimate childhood favourite for my family. So light and yummy. Perfect for every occasion.

We’re so happy that everyone came out and celebrated with us. It made for such a special day.
