April and May OwlCrate Unboxing | Stationery

Another unboxing! Just 2 boxes this time and then I’ll be caught up!

Just a few months late, but hey here they are. Honestly, just gotta keep reading at this point. Here are the final two boxes that I purchased!

April OwlCrate”The Dark Side”

The best thing in this box is the notepad. It’s such a good size with nice lined pages. I enjoy the socks too, they look super cute on. I appreciate the pin pennant but I doubt I’ll ever use it since I use a corkboard to store my pins! I also like the fabric book map. The scarf is nice quality but I don’t really use them!

May OwlCrate “Epic Adventures”

For my last box, this was a good one. I love the water bottle – I actually use it all the time and it helps me keep on top of drinking my water. The Howl’s Moving Castle sticker is so cute and I’ve already put it on my Passion Planner. I was planning on using the eye mask for the hospital when I went into labour but I didn’t get a chance too. I’m looking forward to using the passport holder for our upcoming holiday in a couple of months. I love the pillowcase too, although I don’t want to use it for sleeping on!

For a list of everything in the boxes, check it out here.

This is my last post regarding OwlCrate for the foreseeable future.

I actually cancelled my subscription since I’m:

  1. Super behind on reading the books
  2. On maternity leave, so taking a paycheck cut
  3. Still on the fence with how I feel about the boxes themselves.

I’m tempted to start a subscription with FairyLoot since they are coming out with a US/Canadian site and have lowered their shipping costs for this side of the pond! Still all the same goodies, but not quite as expensive due to shipping costs!! I wanted to jump right on the bandwagon, but need to do some budgeting first. Gotta be smart about it.

So, let me know what you think, and which subscription box you prefer!
