FairyLoot “Talk Faerie To Me” January Box | Books

Talk Faerie To Me!!!

I was so, so excited when this came to my door. I may or may not have done a happy dance.

Talk Faerie to Me was January’s FairyLoot box theme, and I was so pumped for it. FairyLoot is another young adult monthly book subscription box, but this one is a bit more expensive than the OwlCrate box so I decided to only do a one-off purchase.

I could honestly see myself truly enjoying a subscription to this one. I’m in love with the artist Tara Spruit and her renditions of book characters are so good. Honestly – this one of Rhysand is on my to buy list because it is just perfect. *fans self*

But I digress. The theme spoiler card, done by the artist Tara, is stunning. I’m so happy to finally have something that she’s drawn!

This box has six awesome goodies, along with a copy of The Cruel Prince by Holly Black.

I absolutely devoured this book (find my review on Goodreads). I couldn’t put it down and only did because it was 1 am and I knew I’d be up with Kaiden at like 4… I don’t run well off little sleep anymore!

I don’t even know if I can list the items as the most favourite to least because honestly, they’re all so exciting. I’m excited that I did a video on this post. Check it out below!

If you’re like me though, and can’t or don’t want to watch a video, scroll for more pictures of the box’s goodies!

Fairyloot, January, Talk Faerie to Me,

Look at that stunning pillowcase!! Featuring a quote from A Court of Wings and Ruin designed by Evie Bookish. If you haven’t seen her stuff, check her out – it’s so good. I’m looking at getting a couple stickers from her!

The print in the lower right-hand corner is the spoiler card designed by Tara Spruit, and there are also 2 other prints included. Prints of Aelin and Rowan from the Throne of Glass series drawn by Diana Worak. On the flip sides, there are quotes from Julie Kagawa and Cassandra Clare designed by Stella’s Bookish Art.  These are definitely going to get showcased somewhere; I am notoriously bad at framing or displaying any type of print in any decent amount of time frame. There was also a sneaky smaller print of Prince Carden in with the book that makes me very happy.

A lip balm from Geeky Clean – I got the Seelie Court! I think that’s pretty fair, I’m definitely a bit more light side than dark, I think! Smells delicious, the flavour is apple but I think it smells more like pina coladas.

A “Prince Cardan” scented candle by Meraki Candles – it’s so cute and so sparkly! Almost don’t want to use it up. Also smells delicious and manly. Yum.

The magnetic bookmarks from Dreamy & Co are so adorable, I can’t wait to use them. The sad thing is that I am terrible with bookmarks – I usually finish a book before I need to use them! Plus, it’s Feyre and Rhysand!

There was also a gorgeous colouring book with mythical creatures. I’m not a huge fan of colouring books because I don’t enjoy colouring but it’s just so pretty, it still will look nice on the shelf and it’s pretty to flip through.

What do you think of this month’s box? I’m so looking forward to their March box as well!!

J x
