Toronto :: Yoga Show and Conference 2016

The Yoga Show has come and gone.

I love this show. It’s funny because I found it completely different from last year! Just a different vibe, and different booth offerings. Maybe I was in a different mind set of what I wanted to purchase and what I needed last year was different from what I needed this year. Last year I needed a water bottle, and the booth was there. This year, no water bottle booth! But instead, aura photography booths!

There were much more jewelry and crystal booths, as well as more booths that looked into the spiritual side of things. I didn’t go too crazy with my spending here, but I managed to get everything on my list (yoga blocks!) and have a great day.

It’s funny I spent a bit of money, but all on intangible items. I got my aura photographed, which was extremely cool to do. The breakdown of it afterwards was fairly in-depth, and it was cool to see that I had so many colours in my aura.

My dominant colour is yellow – and it’s pretty spot on for me.

I also got an angel reading done – a first for me. I don’t feel the pull towards angels, but when I saw that she was doing readings, I knew that I had to get one done. And I have no regrets about it. It’s quite interesting – she talked to me about my grandmother (who just recently passed this year) and how she’s with me still and will be with me for the rest of my life. She knew things that even I didn’t know about her, and my mom could confirm them when I told her about it later. It was actually really neat, and made me tear up just a little.

I picked up a little beauty cleansing bar (which I’m loving, and will review soon) and a couple samples of things. I love shows like this, because it brings out a lot of Toronto based artists and sellers, and I’m obsessed with raw crystal jewelry. It’s amazing that I didn’t spend more money than I did. It was also really sweet that I managed to get offered a free entry ticket to the show, so I couldn’t complain about that!

I might actually think about taking a class next year, but we’ll see how it goes (with money.. since you know, travel). Did you go? Will you go? Let me know!
