Recap :: Weekend No. 46

Kumo not helping me out with homework at all.

I did it! I was able to keep to my goal of finishing everything off on Saturday, leaving Sunday free for whatever I wanted to do.

Friday I didn’t just immediately slob out on the couch like I normally do. I went to hot yoga (amazing) and then went home to make some dinner and get cracking on some homework. I’m super pumped that my new laptop charger is in and works with my laptop. Now, I have 2 laptops (thanks Andrew!) and so I’m taking his to use for school stuffs. Since his is so much lighter and lasts longer! Anyways, I worked on my homework, and watched some movies. I didn’t want to have a super huge workload, just did some stuff that definitely needed to be done before Saturday, aka my marketing script, and re-editing some slides. I’m really loving the feeling of being productive. It makes me feel way more grown up.
Saturday, I didn’t want to wake up. Probably because I knew that I had to be up. Definitely didn’t make it to 8am yoga, that’s for sure. But I was up and on time for the group meeting, and we got together and worked on our presentation. Took way longer than I thought it would, so I was feeling a little more rushed than I would have liked. I picked up some desserts for the family dinner, and then headed home to finish off the case study. Then I got ready for the family dinner. It was a lot of fun, we don’t really see that side very often, even though she really lives quite close to me now. We played with Ethan, and chatted about family stories, while my brother and uncle debated about the possibilities of time-travel. We finished up around 11.30, only for me to run back out and head to the bar for a friend’s going away party. I had way more fun than I thought I would, I met another Jasmine, who is absolutely stunning. It was a lot of fun but didn’t get home until 2.30. Shocking to be out that late nowadays, feel completely old. It was great to see him before he jets off to France for 7 months. Definitely super jealous.

Sunday: RELAX DAY! And it was glorious. I watched a whole bunch of movies, chatted with Hannah, the life coach about acheiving my goal of the week, and did my nails. And ate. It was perfect. A great way to end the weekend, although it didn’t feel like Sunday because of everything I managed to fit in on Saturday.

Also, I’m starting to countdown the days until Andrew comes home, and I can’t believe there are only 36 days until Christmas… WTF? Gotta make the most of it, thankfully my Christmas shopping is almost complete!
