Anti-Climactic Weekends

I really should not say things in advance of exciting moments. Because, I believe that I ruin them.

This weekend was supposed to be sooo good. I had it all planned out. It went no where near according to plan. Good thing I’m flexible.

Friday was the only day that went slightly according to plan, because I still met up with a friend that I hadn’t see in a LONG time, and we spent 5 hours catching up. First at Starbucks, then for dinner, then I had to get home to catch a bus. But we spanned so many topics, and subjects it was amazing. I had missed this guy!! Travel, politics, sex, work, everything. He had just spent weeks traveling, and I was so jealous. I wish I was able to just drop everything and go. It’d be amazing. It was good to catch up with people. I’m getting better with talking with people and keeping up with people!!

I was supposed to then go out afterwards and meet up with someone else, but that fell through. Which was disappointing, but can’t really do anything about that. He had to work, and other stuff. Bad timing all ’round. It’ll happen, but I’m not too worried about it. It would have been nice but can’t really compete with work and sickness. Maybe another day will actually work out for us.

Saturday was supposed to be baking, shopping and then going out to see SuckerPunch with Kat, but I ended up dying from cramps. I went to sleep and was not in the shape to go see a movie and be around people. So I cancelled. Disappointing, but the mind-numbing pain was not worth moving for anything. I was really looking forward to seeing that movie! I was also supposed to get rid of Tiz’s stuff because he asked Kat to pick it up for him, but as I didn’t see Kat, she didn’t get his stuff, so it is still in my garage. I guess I should probably text him? Meh.

Sunday was when I got my ass up and into gear and baked and shopped. I was so productive, I got up early, baked. I love getting up early and doing stuff because I can get so much more into the day! Sleeping in is great once in awhile, but sometimes fitting more into your day is so much more fulfilling. I finished my baking by 12, ate some lunch, calmed down a panicky dog from a thunderstorm, and then headed out to the mall. By that time, it had stopped raining so I walked to the mall. Good day for exercise, I walked to the mall, walked around the mall, and then walked home. I got everything that I went for, and found a CUTE pair of shoes, that I lovvve, and put on hold. Most likely will buy them. I met up with the Bro, and then walked home. Napped for a bit, was sooo tired from all the walking. Gotta love naps!!

Anyways, here’s to another week!
xoxo
