Who doesn’t love the feel of a new oracle deck?
I haven’t talked about anything spiritual in a while, and honestly, it’s been put on the backburner for a bit. I am aiming to get back into it, but it’s going to be a slow process.
I’ve always been drawn to the Norse pantheon for my practice, when I saw this oracle deck pop up on my Tumblr feed I knew that I needed to get it.
The Telluric Rune Oracle by Lunaria Gold (Tumblr / Etsy Shop) is a stunning and welcome addition to my collection.
This deck will help me get comfortable using runes and incorporating them into my practice. The fact that they’re not your typical rune set is something that I like. I love the drawing style and details. I think that using cards will be easier for me overall. The ability to take it on the go and not worry about too many pieces is a huge draw.
I’m hoping that this will help my practice and help me build a stronger connection to my spirituality.
I haven’t really been able to sit down for more than a few minutes at a time to work with them. For first impressions, they have a great feel. For general purposes, they are a great shape and a great size. Fits easily in your hands which makes them easy to shuffle. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, they will make a fantastic addition to my practice.
Now I just need to set aside the time to actually do the work.
Lunaria is currently working on another deck, the Telluric Tarot which combines the tarot with crystals and their corresponding plant. It looks amazing but I have a bunch of decks I don’t use currently so don’t really need to add another to the pile! I am trying to make smart money choices, as hard as that may be! In a fun side note, she’s Canadian, so I’m able to support the little guy as well as local artists!
I’m so excited to start using this more. It’s part of my commitment to taking a couple of minutes for myself at some point in the day.
