OwlCrate unboxing time!
The June box was themed Summer Lovin, and it couldn’t have come at a better time! Just in time for lazy summer days of sitting on the dock and reading a book. I think that in the summertime, a more contemporary read is just the thing.
Something light and fluffy, an easy read to pass the time nicely. This month’s book was “From Twinkle, With Love” by Sandhya Menon. She’s the author who wrote “When Dimple Met Rishi”, which had fantastic reviews online. I’m super excited to read this one and try out this author’s works.
So let’s get into the whole box, shall we?
Like every month, we got the newsletter, the spoiler card, the pin, and the next month’s theme card.
The first item was the large item: a microfibre towel designed by Stella Bookish Art! Definitely perfect for some waterside lounging. I’ve already used it and it’s super absorbent, dries quickly, and looks so cute.
We got a mason jar mug with a lid, inscribed with Bookworm and Proud, which is exactly what I am.
A tea from Riddle’s Tea Shop; light and fruity which is perfect for summer iced tea. I’m not a huge fruit tea fan, but I’m always willing to try something out. I do enjoy them cold over hot though. The flavour was Apple Picking at Night (summer apple and peach tea).
I love stationery, so getting an adorable pen with a little cactus on it is awesome. Fine point, black ink, everything I look for in a pen pretty much.
A wooden bookmark from Ink & Wonder which is actually really nice. I’m not a huge user of bookmarks; I find that I’ll binge read and don’t have a need for them. Yes – I will stay up until 2/3/4 am to finish a really good book. SO bad now that I’m a mom and up and have to be up when Kaiden’s up.
Another small little item was the keychain of popcorn that has the book title on it. I love keychains! I love getting them as souvenirs. Between them and postcards, I’d be inundated if I bought all the ones I wanted.
And of course, the book! With the letter from the author, I’m really enjoying the signed editions. I’ve never had so many signed books in my life. If you love getting books signed, these boxes make it worth the money.
For an in-depth look at the whole box, I’ve got the vlog up on my channel now!
What do you think of this box? Let me know!
