Life :: Liebster Award!!

I’m sorry that it took me so long to get to this, I’ve been extremely behind in everything blog related.

I was so excited when I found out that I was nominated, I’ve never been nominated for anything before! I have such an extreme respect for the entire blogging community that I never thought this would happen to me.

The Rules (so strict ha!) are as follows:
1. Show your appreciation by linking back to the person who nominated you,
2. List 11 facts about yourself (optional),
3. Answer the 11 questions given to you by the person who nominated you,
4. Nominate another 11 blogs, preferably with under 200 followers, to pass the award on to.
5. Compile 11 questions for your nominees to answer.
6. Notify the bloggers whom you have nominated.

Anyways, before I over-gush and ruin the moment: 11 random facts about me!

  1. I’m a huge anime/manga nerd. I really wish that I could read Japanese so that I could buy straight from Japan. 
  2. I probably watch way to much tv when I really should be doing other things.
  3. I was a total slob when I was in high school, never caring about looks or makeup.
  4. Speaking of high school, I used to be 4’11 until grade 12.
  5. I used to have ridiculous acne, to which only ProActiv worked for me. 
  6. I have a diploma in Equine Management/Agriculture, which I currently am not using. 
  7. I have a really hard time leaving my cat at home alone. Which makes me a crazy cat lady. 
  8. I’m totally getting an iPhone so that I can have really cute cases… 
  9. When I met my boyfriend, we bonded over our love of Great Danes
  10. Also, our first date was in a McDonald’s in Walmart. I’m a classy lady. 
  11. If someone told me that what I’m doing now would be my job in high school I would have laughed and told them they were lying. 
1. If you had to listen to one of these types of music all day, what would you rather listen to, rap, one direction or Metallica?
This one is a toughie! Although, depends on the mood I’m in, it would be a toss up between One Direction or rap. 
2. Cats or dogs?
Can I not choose? I love my cat, he’s my baby! I also love the independence that one can have with a cat. I will eventually get a dog, but right now I’m definitely a cat person. 
3. what made you want to start blogging?
Honestly, boredom. I’ve always been one to journal my life’s moments and I had really nothing better to do with my time than start a blog. Did I expect it to get like this? No. Wouldn’t go back to before blogging though! 
4. What type of blog do you run?
I classify mine as a lifestyle blog, more on the personal level. I do posts about everything, and like to talk about what’s happening in my life that might be of no importance to anyone reading it. 
5.Your favourite type of shoes?
Heels. I don’t wear them that often, but I love them. 
6. If you could visit anywhere in the world where would you go?
Japan. This is my bucket-list place forever. Such a great mix of culture and ideals. Plus anime and cute characters? I’m sold! 
7. Your favourite animal?
Everyone thinks that because I ride horses, that’s my favourite animal. But it’s not. I think that rodents are my fave. I think that squirrels are a favourite. 
8. Favourite TV programme?
Currently Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. I go through to many phases to have a fave tv show. 
9. If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?
I would love to be an executive assistant in the fashion world. Ugly Betty, or Devil Wears Prada styles. 
10. If you could have any superpower what would it be and how would you use it?
I think being able to speak any language would be awesome. I’d also like to be a shape shifter. You know how powerful that could be? You could just be someone else at any moment. I would probably pick up guys that way. Hahah. 
11. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Hopefully, married with 2 kids, and possibly a house. God, how domestic does that sound? I never used to be like that. But now it’s what I want, and hopefully a blog that is doing more than just chronicling my life.
