I feel like it’s been awhile since I’ve posted about new beauty items!

Victoria Beckham Beauty

This was 100% a result of Instagram marketing. It took months, chipping away at my resistance, but they did get me to cave. I bought these entirely on impulse when Victoria Beckham Beauty was having a sale (I believe for Black Friday) so I decided to go for it.

The main reason I purchased, it was for the eyeliners. They looked so soft and smooth to apply. Plus, the colours are so pretty!

Satin Kajal Eyeliners

Victoria Beckham Beauty

I am absolutely in LOVE with these. They are rich in colour, so easy to apply. They are just as smooth as they look on Instagram, which is saying something. The liners are super silky application and are ridiculously easy to blend. I’ve been trying them in different ways. I’ve used them as eyeshadow, liner, alone and with other shadows. Bases and no bases. They’ve been great in all the ways I’ve tried them. They’re extremely versatile and just so pretty. I purchased the Satin Jewel Kajal liners in Night Flash, Sequin Green, and Gold Lame and the Satin Kajal liner in Bronze.

My favourite combination right now is using Sequin Green as the cat eye, and Bronze on the inner eyelid. I blend them together into a smoky eye and use the Gold Lame as a liner. I don’t find them overly smudgy which is nice. The little smudgy brush at the other end of the pencil is another part that I love.

Future Lash Mascara

I needed another mascara like a hole in the head, but it’s part of a set. The Future Lash Mascara is not waterproof which makes removing it easy. I’m not overly fussed about it. I like it, it does the job. It’s not clumpy and the brush is one of the better plastic ones I’ve used. But is it worth the price tag? Probably not. There are probably cheaper, similar mascaras available.

Instant Brightening Waterline Pencil

This was part of a set and I would never have bought it otherwise. The Brightening Waterline pencil was something that I had zero expectations for but it’s really coming into its own! I’m really enjoying it! It does brighten the eye subtly without looking like anything is on your eye. Just as easy to apply as the liners and very smooth. No tugging at all. Definitely an underdog winner. I don’t know if I would repurchase this one, but I do enjoy using it.

Posh Gloss

I don’t generally like lip gloss but this was a freebie for spending over a certain amount so I wasn’t going to say no. It’s just clear so I do like putting it over my lipstick to give it a bit more of a gloss instead of a matte look. This would never be a repurchase for me (I doubt I’ll even finish it) but it’s not sticky or tacky. Just gives a nice smooth look.

Overall I’m quite impressed with Victoria Beckham Beauty.

I definitely bought these in specific sets that don’t seem to be available anymore. The original set was (I believe) similar to this one, including the mascara, waterline pencil, and the kajal liner (which I got in Bronze). Then I purchased just the Satin Jewel liners as a set. She had one where you could get them in a set of 3, 4 or all 6. It doesn’t look like there’s anything like that available anymore. Maybe during the next holiday! It was a good deal to get them in the set.

These are pretty much all I’ve been using when I put makeup on and I have zero regrets about this impulse buy. Instagram for the win on this one.

What are your thoughts? Have you tried these? Let me know!
