Who doesn’t love more paper goods?
I’ve been a little bit naughty. I’ve been crazy inspired by Instagram and seeing all the planner spreads that people are doing. It’s inspired me to try and do more planner layouts and actually make my planners look creative and cute.
I’d mentioned in my last journal goals post that the Instagrammer SkyBambi was super inspiring to me. I love the classic, almost vintage style her journals have. Also, looking at how she organizes her paper goods is also inspiring.
Some other Instagrammers that are inspiring me in regards to planner layouts are JasmineMariePlans, SweetKawaiiDesign, Studylustre, Kayla Journals, Filoeyecandi, and LettersandLettering. They have some awesome layouts and they have great organizing ideas too.
The paper goods haul:
I bought these paper goods from a bunch of different places: Amazon.ca, Michael’s, Oomomo, and WalMart.
I purchased some acrylic stamp blocks off Amazon because I’m obsessed with the idea of clear stamps. How did I not know about these sooner?! I purchased some and they are so cute and so easy to use. The flexibility that they give without taking up so much storage space either! I purchased a planner set from Recollections (Michaels) and from Sweet Kawaii Design (Michaels). They’re so cute!
Currently obsessed with using stickers. I got some vintage map stickers from Amazon and super cute animal flake stickers from Oomomo. Also loving the Happy Planner sticker books. When at Michaels I picked up the Mom book, Journal book, and the Color Story. The Wonton In A Million sticker books are also super cute – I picked up the Weekly Layout and the Budget Layout books.
Of course, what paper goods haul would be complete without purchasing some washi tape!?
All of this tape is from Oomomo and it’s so cute!! They had quite the selection, although I do need slightly thinner tapes for the smaller journal than what I have. Oomomo is a great store; everything is $2 unless otherwise posted. Washi tape for two bucks is a great deal. I stocked up since the store is pretty far away and I probably won’t be back any time soon.
I’m obsessed with buying and planning out layouts now – although I’m going to have to be a little more careful with sizes since I’m using a smaller Passion Planner now.
Next Up: Organizing the Paper Goods
I bought a Delde standing pencil case for all my pens. It hasn’t arrived yet, but I like that I can see all the pen colours instantly. For the stickers, I bought an accordion file folder for easy transport and the Happy Planner sticker sheets fit perfectly. I love how that worked out.
I’m planning on updating how I will store all my paper goods. My current system isn’t working and eventually will need to be moved out of Kaiden’s room anyway. A post should be up soon regarding my ideas for storage!
What do you think of this haul? Too much? Not enough? Let me know!
