Memorable Moments!
This one was a doozy! Their servers were down the day that they released the single purchase boxes and the pressure felt so real – the FOMO was killing me.
The March box was commemorating FairyLoot’s 2nd year running so it was going to be a special purple box instead of the regular black. Honestly, I didn’t even really care about what the theme was – I just wanted the purple box!
The theme spoiler card, done by the artist Tara, is stunning like always.
This box has five awesome goodies, along with a copy of State of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury.
I, unfortunately, have not yet read this book. Life has been crazy hectic and I kind of forgot that I even had it. You’d think that I would have carved out some time for it considering I’m very late in posting this anyways. But nope. It’s next on my reading shelf though!
I don’t even know if I can list the items as the most favourite to least because honestly, they’re all so exciting. I’m excited that I did a video on this post. Check it out below!
If you’re like me though, and can’t or don’t want to watch a video, scroll for more pictures of the box’s goodies!
I love that each box I’ve received has a material item, last time it was the pillowcase, this time it’s a scarf. The scarf is covered in runes that were inspired by the Shadowhunter series by Cassandra Clare. Designed by FictionTea Designs, it’s so soft and I can’t wait to wear it this spring!
A round soap from Geeky Clean -Bilbo’s Birthday Cake! Smells delicious, the scent is vanilla and strawberry cake. I don’t really use bar soap anymore, but I might have to make an exception!
A “Goblet of Fire” candle by Paper Flames Candle Co. I love the blue and white swirls, and it’s nice that it’s not super scented either. But it looks pretty, and I love the mini size!
Something nice when curling up with a good book is something yummy to drink and this month they have hot chocolate from Eponine. Love the Game of Thrones reference to Jon Snow because who doesn’t love GoT? #sansan4lyfe
And last but not least, the cork bunting from Paladone. I love little things like this but have nowhere to put it until I finally get around to finishing my DIY project! I really gotta get that thing made!
Some of the smaller extras this month were the Belles pin and bookmark – I’m very curious to read this book as well. I’ve seen it online a lot and heard good things! A State of Sorrow postcard, and of course the letter from the author and signed bookplate.
What do you think of this month’s box? They’re running an awesome contest (think Willy Wonka’s Golden ticket) in their May box to be able to win up to a year’s subscription!!! Check it out here.
