Ok, so since I was so very remiss about posting anything this week, I figured that this would be a good time to just do a little Friday update.
I’m about ready to get into the full swing of Christmas. I won’t go as far to say that I’m completely done everything for it, but I’m getting there. Just a couple more things to get, and then I can say that I’m completely done.
This weekend is going to be a major cleaning weekend for me, just because I want to get things organized, just in case I have people over/drop by for Christmas. Perhaps I shall even do some baking for it? Andrew’s headed up to the cottage this weekend, which is perfect for me. This way, I can get his gift done without him seeing it! And I am determined to get it finished this weekend. And perhaps some other ones? And perhaps even some wrapping. Woot woot.
I love the look of the fabric wrapping via Kittenbear I think I might have to try that this year. They just look so pretty! I’m really feeling the DIY vibe this Christmas, probably because I’m on such a tight budget this year.
My mother is literally the best person and mom in the world. I wish that I could give her something more in return for what she’s given me, but I think I know just the thing for her this year. I hope that everyone likes the homemade aspect of my gifts. It’s the best I can do this year! Especially since it’s her birthday next week!
