Want to get dirrty to get clean? I jumped in the shower with Jealous Body Scrub*, and loved it!
I love body scrubs. I have terrible skin, so am always looking for the next best thing to help with it. I know that exfoliation is important, but there are days where I feel lazy and don’t do it. I’m getting better about this though.
Jealous Body Scrub is a Vancouver based brand, and all natural. Currently they only have the one product, the body scrub, that is made from coffee, coconut oil, raw brown sugar, sea salt, vitamin E and minerals. It’s supposed to help with reducing the appearance of cellulite, varicose veins, eczema, you name it. A lot of it might help with prevention for when I’m older, as well as currently since I have such bumpy skin.
I used this in the shower, and was impressed with how much a handful went. I was able to get my whole body done! Safe to use on your face as well, although it might be a bit coarse for every day face use. I like the way it smelt (mm coffee!), and it was a lot of fun getting dirty to get clean. The shower looked like I had jumped into the mud and was now washing it off!
The coconut oils in it made my skin feel so smooth and hydrated afterwards. Even days after my skin feels amazing. So much fun in the shower. I have to say that I that I was definitely impressed with how far it went and how nice my skin felt afterwards. The product is a little pricey for the amount that you get ($17.95 Cdn for 7oz), but I wouldn’t be pleased if I needed more than a handful of the product. As this is something that I wouldn’t be using more than once a week, it’s definitely worth the money!
Another thing that I love is that it has free shipping (within Canada and the US)!! This also boosts it up in my eyes. I can’t wait until they come out with more products, I would definitely be interested in trying some more!
