This year’s music concerts that are coming to Toronto look like a lot of fun, and I’m going to try and attend as many as I can.
I’ve become such a music concert bunny! Over the past couple years, I made the commitment to see more live music, and it’s something that I’ve just fallen in love with. Now, I’m not going to pay crazy amounts of money for a concert, (although… depends on the artist), but I’m definitely willing to spend money. With the increase of downloading music illegally, I’m willing to support my faves!
So far, the artists that I follow and are touring this year are as follows:
Panic at the Disco and Weezer Summer Tour 2016 I love Panic so much (as previously mentioned in my last post about them) so when they released their tour dates with Toronto on the list, I knew I was going. His new album is so good, and I’m just so excited. I can’t wait for July!
Maroon 5 with Tove Lo V Tour They aren’t coming to Toronto! *sad face* The only province they’re coming to is Quebec for 2 shows. Boooo.
Marianas Trench with Walk Off the Earth Never Say Die Tour These boys are moving up in the world! I first saw them at free shows and small venues and now they’re playing the Air Canada Centre! What! These 4 guys from Vancouver, are in the big leagues now.
Florence and the Machine How Beautiful Tour This literally sold out here before the pre-sale ended. I’m so upset about this! I would have loved to see them live, but I missed them last year at Bestival, and now I’m missing them again. Le sigh.
Jason DeRulo Everything is 4 Tour He’s currently in Europe for this tour, but it should be coming to North America soon. I’ll post an update when I get it!!
This year’s music festivals, although most line-ups haven’t been released yet:
WayHome – The three day music festival that I went to last year. It was excellent, and if we go this year we all will be much better prepared! I just hope that the line up gets released soooon!
Bestival – A 2 day music festival that takes place on Toronto Island, and last year had Florence and the Machine! Although it runs on Friday – Saturday, and that’s the main reason I didn’t go last year (still kicking myself about that one), if the line up is worth it, I’m doing it!
There are a couple other festivals, but I’m undecided on whether I want to go to them yet. Depends on if I’m in a country kinda mood. Have you been to any really good concerts lately?
