Last week, I got an invite from Kate Spade to attend their #GetGifted event, hosted with Elle Canada. Like I need an excuse to go to Kate Spade, right?

It was being hosted at the Kate Spade Yorkville flagship store, and I’ve actually never been to that location before. I always get turned around in the Bay subway stop, but it tickled me to know that There was a bit of a line to get in, so I took that time to take lots of pictures of the outside of the store – so pretty!

The store was packed – but the champagne definitely helped with that, and the store with 25% off clearly was a draw. So many women walked out with prettily wrapped packages, but unfortunately for me, even with the discount nothing was in my budget.  Even though there was about a 20 minute wait to get into the store, they moved it along quickly and I had fun chatting with Briana and when we got close enough, talking to the security guard at the front door.

I absolutely love the Kate Spade bridal line, as well as all of the stationary. They have a new coffee table book out (All In Good Taste), and I’ll be getting that one soon as well! I’ve already added their first two to my collection (Things We Love/Places to Go, People to See), so can’t leave out the latest!

There were definitely some great dresses that I would have loved to take home, but explaining that one to Andrew might have been a little difficult…

Can’t I just take him home instead?
