Toronto :: Jason Aldean Concert

Jason Aldean.

JasonAldean-Feat

I was in college for the first time when he first hit the country scene, singing about taking the tractor another round, under an Amarillo Sky. Being at a complete farm school, country was definitely the most played, as almost every one attending was taking the tractor another round, under an Ottawa sky.

I’ve always been a fan, but just recently got back into my country music phase, and I can listen to Jason Aldean’s albums continuously. There isn’t a song that I don’t like, and most of them I can relate to, and have some really good college memories with.

When I found out that he was going to be coming to the Molson Amp, I knew that I was going to be there. I was so excited! And he did not disappoint.

He was absolutely fantastic. He started 5 minutes early, and hit the stage on fire. Literally, so many fireworks and flames. He started with ‘Hicktown’ and just belted out hit after hit. It was great because he interacted with the crowd, moved around the stage a lot, played his guitar and sang his heart out.

He also sang all of these songs – But the videos aren’t available in my country boo. So look these ones up for sure!

1994
Johnny Cash
Amarillo Sky
HickTown
Fly Over States
Tattoos On This Town
Dirt Road Anthem
My Kinda Party
The Only Way I Know (With Tyler Farr and Cole Swindell)
1969 – Bryan Adams Cover
I Use What I Got

He was on stage from 9.20 to 11, and it was absolutely insane. Everyone was on their feet dancing away, and singing, myself included. He played all the favourites, threw in a couple slow songs, but mainly stuck to his up-beat ones. So, so good.

No regrets. Especially since we technically should have been doing something in regards to the house that night, but nope! Had way more fun at this concert for sure. Were you there? Are you into country music? Thoughts! Tweet me @JasmineFlower1
