Review :: Flower Beauty Products

Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore launched at Walmart in Canada awhile ago (like in 2014…).

Never said that I was the fastest on the bandwagon.

This brand… it took me a while to get to this post. I’ve been using the products for awhile, and it wasn’t the easiest product to get at Walmart since it always seemed to be out of stock. Never the less, when I needed to get a new face powder and I finally saw some stock, I jumped at the chance. I had heard such great things about the brand!

I purchased the BB Cream, and the Powder Trip powder foundation. Honestly, these products just didn’t do it for me. I love the packaging, and the cost (under $15 bucks!) but the foundation I found didn’t really work with my skin. It could have been because my skin has not been acting nice for me lately, and I was going through a change when I was using it consistently, but I found that I got oilier much quicker, so the coverage wasn’t that even for me. And the powder foundation didn’t give me much coverage at all. Unfortunate, but it isn’t one that I enjoy using.

I think that I would have been better off getting the loose powder instead… (I’ve been feeling a little bit of buyer’s remorse when I think about it), so I would definitely be open to trying the brand again. Although right now my skin is so bad that I haven’t been wearing any make-up. So we shall see what happens!

Any one else out there that this brand didn’t work for? Would you suggest a different product from this brand?
