Look at me go! I’m loving working out at the gym. I go almost every day, and I just love it. Makes me so happy, albeit a little tired. Yes, it would be ideal to head straight home. But that isn’t possible most days.
Last night Mom and I hit up a Zumba class, it was our first one ever! And it was so much fun. The instructor was super friendly, upbeat and nice, and such good music! I felt completely uncoordinated, and like I had absolutely no rhythm, but I did get the hand of some songs. I really enjoyed dancing to Gangnam Styles by Psy. New favourite right there!
Mom was really going all out, and that was awesome. I was taking it a little easier, just because of my knees. I didn’t want to K/O myself on the first day. Don’t get me wrong, I worked up a sweat, but I just wasn’t able to do all the bouncing and stuff that the teacher was doing.
I’ve been super good about doing my regular workout too. Friday’s is my yoga day, and I’ve yet to get my ass to the gym on the weekend. I think I’m going to be able to this weekend. It’ll be my break from studying and homework. I actually have to crack down and do it, as I have things due and tests. No partying this weekend for me, even though Adele asked to do something. The only thing is that this Friday I’m skipping yoga so that I can hang out with Valentina, and go to the thrift store.
Tomorrow, going to do the weight lifting that I have planned for me, and the cardio and regular exercises that I do. Squats, push ups, prayer twist, plank. 3x. The first time it’s good, by the third I’m definitely feeling it! I can already feel a difference in my body. I need to start swimming so that I can get my lung capacity up as well!
