Life :: Apartment Reorganization

I am so excited for this, it’s actually kind of sad.

Sometimes, a space gets a little stale or old, and you find yourself thinking “Wouldn’t it be great to move again?”. This is clearly not in the cards for me, so what’s the next best thing? Rearranging the furniture!

I have this huge list (that I mentioned in my Merry Christmas post), and it’s literally making me so excited. All about the apartment this time, and yes, I’ve been living here a year. And yes, I have done almost nothing to make it seem like my own. I just put things away (not so well) and have been living in disorganized chaos for the entire time. It’s terrible. And slowly driving my boyfriend insane.

I literally have so much to do, that it’s almost a little overwhelming to even think about. But I’m going to take it room by room, and it’ll be great fun with a jammin’ playlist.

To Do:

+ Living Room

+ Switch the furniture around in the living room
+ Organize all my paper stuff, find homes for everything or chuck it out!
+ Put shelves in the shoe cupboard, organize and pare down

+ Kitchen:

– Put in the pot light over the sink
– Fix the outlet!
– Take down the wall/banister **More an Andrew job
– Wash the floors
– Reorganize the cupboards
– Throw out all the crap in the cupboards!!

+ Bathroom:

– Clean everything!
– Declutter the shelves
– Throw out the crap!
– Organize under the sink

+ Random

– Find some frames and put up pictures
– Work on my postcard DIY
– Get my Europe trip pictures printed/scrapbooked/poster board done

Hm so maybe this list is a little crazy intimidating. But I am so ready to tackle this. Some of this stuff has to be done before Christmas, as I’m kind of hosting a Christmas Day brunch… We’ll see who shows up. But I have roughly a week off, and most of it won’t be spent with family or watching too much Netflix. Let’s get my clean on!
