June ‘Animal Companions’ Fairyloot | Stationery

As a kid, the best thing about magic was having animal companions that you could talk to and have as a best friend.

And if you could have a dragon? Even better! I absolutely loved The Golden Compass for having shapeshifting animal companions for life.

This box featured items from the House of Earth and Blood series, Priory of the Orange Tree, and The Raven Cycle.

I need to get some more pillows for my giant new bed so what better time to do that when I have these cute new pillowcases to put on them!

I’ve never read the Priory of the Orange Tree but I love the look of the metal bookmarks. The enamel pin is super cute featuring JiJi from Kiki’s Delivery Service. One of the best black cats.

I like the look of the flower pot which has characters from House of Earth and Blood, but I’ll definitely be using it as a pen holder because I have zero green thumbs.

I’m actually kind of digging the acrylic standee featuring Wrath from Kingdom of the Wicked. Once I have a bookshelf it’ll look great on it!

This box definitely was made up of smaller items, but last month had some biggies so I’m not surprised. I do love home decor items though!

The June ‘Animal Companions’ themed book is Fire with Fire by Destiny Soria.

Dani and Eden Rivera were both born to kill dragons, but the sisters couldn’t be more different. For Dani, dragon slaying takes a back seat to normal high school life, while Eden prioritizes training above everything else. Yet they both agree on one thing: it’s kill or be killed where dragons are concerned.

Until Dani comes face-to-face with one and forges a rare and magical bond with him. As she gets to know Nox, she realizes that everything she thought she knew about dragons is wrong. With Dani lost to the dragons, Eden turns to the mysterious and alluring sorcerers to help save her sister. Now on opposite sides of the conflict, the sisters will do whatever it takes to save the other. But the two are playing with magic that is more dangerous than they know, and there is another, more powerful enemy waiting for them both in the shadows.

Another one added to the TBR pile but who doesn’t love dragons? Eventually I’ll get through them all. This book looks good but I’m not jumping this one to the top of the pile yet. I’ll add it to the list and when the dice rolls it, I’ll jump on it. I’m not sure why this one isn’t jumping out at me but it isn’t really as intriguing to me yet.

I’ll update when I have a review for this one!
