Gratitude :: 5 Things I’m Grateful For

Happy Birthday, Andrew!

He turns the big 28 today, and we threw a big bash yesterday to celebrate. So much food, so many people, and such good times. Granted, we did turn it a little more into a housewarming, but still. We had cake, so that makes it a birthday.

I’m so excited to be getting a house tour up!! I took it as soon as I got home on Friday – before anyone or anything could mess it up. You’re probably thinking, how messy can 2 people make it? Trust, I’m a slob. And Andrew is a slob too. Two slobs do not equal clean house. Unfortunately. It’s constantly on my “Things to Improve” list. I’m good for about a week and then it just tumbles down.

ANYWAYS. I’ll be posting that hopefully soon. I just need to figure out . I was so busy yesterday with cooking and cleaning and hosting. I didn’t get to bed until about 2.30am, and it was a really, really lazy day today.

The 5 things I’m grateful for this week are:

1 // My mother. She was such an amazing help during the whole house process, and she spent 2 days here painting trim to help us get the house done in time for the party!!!

2 // The house being (almost) done. It actually looks like a house now. This winter we’ll tackle the basement for sure though. Oh joy.

3 // Exercise. Andrew and I have signed up for a volleyball league with another friend (I’m beyond excited for this!) and I’m still keeping up with my weekly tai-chi classes.

4 // Lazy Sundays. Didn’t wake up super late but just chilled and ate leftover party food. Nom nom.

5 // More Korean music. #stilladdicted.

What are you grateful for this day?
