Friday :: Fashion & Other Things

Tear. It’s Friday but Andrew left early this morning to catch a 7am flight to Newfoundland. Work calls… I guess it’s better than him not working at all. Haha.

So for the next three weeks I’ll be without a boyfriend, and probably pretty solitary, but I’ll be super busy because everything starts in the next couple weeks! School starts up next week, and I’m hoping that in the couple weeks that he’s gone I’m going to get into a routine, and hope to Whoever Up There that when he comes back he doesn’t ruin it. Sounds so bad, but he has a habit of ruining any routines that I put in place, not that I’m entirely guiltless. I do cave because I never know when he might have to jet off to the next place.

So I’m planning to have this routine down for when he comes back. They say you only need 21 days to form a habit…

Monday: Workout > school > home > clean/make lunch > bed early. –> this might change as I don’t know how late my class will go
Tuesday: Workout > home > dinner/make lunch > homework > bed early
Wednesday: Riding > mom’s house for dinner > home
Thursday: Workout > school > home > clean/make lunch > bed early –> see above note.
Friday: Workout > home > relax!! It’s the weekend!
Weekends: This is where I’m going to catch up on all things during the week

I think that sounds doable yes? I won’t be super overwhelmed, and I’ll be able to get everything done during my off days. My body might hate me for all the exercise it’s not used to getting, but I can’t wait until I get to the point where it doesn’t hurt anymore. Won’t that be nice! I’m excited to see results, but I’m not getting my hopes up. I know what I put in is what I’ll get out.
Work out wear I want need:

1. Lululemon Running shorts
2. Lululemon
3. Lululemon
4. Victoria’s Secret

I’m totally missing out on the fact that I haven’t bought any stationary for going back to school. Not that I need it, and this weekend I totally need to organize binders and books. I went to campus and got all my books for school, and I can’t believe that this Monday I’ll be back in the school groove. Or at least trying to get back into it. [In this respect, I’m almost glad that Andrew isn’t around…]

Things I liked this week:
– OMG these are my fave things at a Viet restaurant… and now I can’t wait to make them! via Style Scrapbook
– Why yes, I’d love to make a pair of polka dot skinny jeans… via A Pretty Penny
– I’m addicted to reading about Korean skincare, sad that I didn’t think about it sooner, before my cousin came home from there! via She Said Beauty
– This hot chocolate looks so decadent, I can’t wait until it gets a little cooler! via A Beautiful Mess
– That hot chocolate paired with these cinnamon buns via Brown Eyed Baker
– My fave thing to buy from Mr Greek.. om nom Gyros! via The Londoner

Things to do this weekend:
– Catch up on sleeps. I really need to get back into a routine of BED EARLY. 1am nights are slowly killing me.
– Figuring out which pictures go where, and which ones to print off!
– Put away all my freaking laundry, and organize my closet.
– Fix up my nails!

I think those are manageable goals for the weekend, among them I’ll be going grocery shopping as well. Been really slacking on the eating front. I want to make it something that I make special, if that makes sense. I want to stop just eating meals on the couch in front of the tv.
