Changing My Ways

I need to stop loafting on certain things, because I’m going to miss out on a lot of things in life. I loafted on the purchasing of the Alice in Wonderland ballet tickets, and now it’s COMPLETELY sold out. SIGH. I really wanted to see that one. Serves me right for not going and buying them straight away. I had plenty of warning, but just forgot. Tsk tsk.

This weekend was awesome. I booked tickets to see Blue Man Group with Andrew, for in July, and should also book tickets to see Billy Elliot… But I just don’t know when Mom will be able to see that one. I ended up hanging out with Andrew all weekend, it was so much fun. Totally unproductive for the most part, but a lot of fun. Friday night was Hassaan’s last going out party. It was supposed to be Saturday night as well, but majority of the people came out on Friday, so the Saturday was cancelled. Which worked for me because I wanted to do something else anyways. We ended up deciding to go to Coopers, and it was nice because it was good to see Lindsay and Steve again, Rob and Christin were there, and Kyle, HJ, Hassaan, Andrew and a bunch of his friends. I was the DD for Andrew and his friend, Adam. Which is AWESOME. I realize now that it’s not that I didn’t like driving, it was the vehicle that was wrong! I love driving his truck. It’s so much fun, and so much bigger than the Accent. Way more of an adrenaline rush. I drove around in it all weekend. I’m so impressed that he actually lets me drive by myself. But I’m getting sidetracked right now. Back to Friday. It was fun. Ate food, they drank, I laughed. I got to meet another one of his friends, so now I’ve met (I’m pretty sure) the main group of guys. The only downside of that night was Adam was busy talking to Hassaan, and spilt his ENTIRE beer all over me, my phone, and wallet. Now everything doesn’t matter because I can clean/change/wipe off. But the phone… is not doing well. I need to go to Bell and see what I can do, because the camera is FUCKED. Totally doesn’t work. I have random scrolling blackouts, and I don’t think that battery lasts as long. Hopefully it can be fixed, if not… I dunno. I’ll have to get a new phone or something. SIGH. Totally not what I wanted to happen this weekend, but I feel bad because Adam feels terrible about it. I’m like don’t worry about it. I still have the insurance stuff that I pay for monthly so I might as well use it. I mean it sucks, but right now it’s still usable. It’s just ridiculously slow. Annoyingly so. And the battery doesn’t last as long. Sigh. Gotta go in to talk to Bell tomorrow. Boourns. The only damper on the night, but it didn’t even bother me as much as I thought it would. Surprisingly, I’m pretty chill about it. Andrew and Adam are more upset about it than I am. He’s like we’ll buy you a new phone if we have to. I don’t think I could let them do that. But I have to see what Bell says first.

Saturday was even better. I spent way to much money in a short amount of time (which is always fun) and then he let me drive home and back by myself, so that I could shower etc. It was awesome, and the first time that I’ve driven completely alone, with no one beside me. I was a little nervous, mainly because of directions but I was good. Just gotta watch my speed. Now I just have to book my G test. Then I went back to his house because we were all headed out to a club, and going to party it up. I bought new shoes, so I wore those and my LBD, and looked amazing. Even his friends were like “Damn… ” haha it was awesome. It was interesting because I was going out with “the guys” and Nik’s girlfriend didn’t show up until later. It was interesting because we were going to go to the Drake, but it was super busy, so we walked our asses down to Wrongbar (which was not a five minute walk, it was like 12 blocks. In 5.5″ heels.) I was actually fine until the last 5 minutes back to the car. We got into Wrongbar free, and no line so that was sweet. Boys bought me drinks, and I danced for a bit. The music was aight, nothing fancy. Got boring after a while because it was all the same beat. That’s the joy of dubstep. Although when dubstep is good, it’s good. Just hard to dance to in high heels. So we head back, and get poutine. Which was disappointing. On the way back to the car, we passed 2 girls and a guy just talking and one of the girls was like “omg you’re so pretty. I really like your hair.” Me: Thanks! Then the second girl calls after us (to Andrew) “You better treat her right! Otherwise I’ll take her from you!”. It totally made my night. Then we drove back to Andrew’s house. We were both really tired, so we made out a bit but then pretty much passed out super quick. Sunday was a lazzzy day. We didn’t do anything. We went rollerblading, and he made french toast for brunch. He came over for our family bbq to introduce my cousin’s new baby to the family! That was kind of exciting, if you’re into babies. It was more exciting because a) he got to meet my family and b) my other cousin who we haven’t seen in years came out, which was nice. It was really good to see her again. Who doesn’t love reconnecting with family!

This weekend was pretty much me and Andrew chilling… canoodling…partying. It was pretty epic. I like that boy so much.
