Books :: August To Be Read

Didn’t I just post about July’s TBR? These months are just flying by way too quickly.

July was probably my worst month in regards to reading and books. I don’t think I finished a book? And definitely nothing on my July TBR list. Whoops! Sometimes life just gets in the way right? And I can’t always push not doing laundry in favour of reading…

SO here’s what’s on my list for August:

Digging into my own bookshelf this month, I’m putting Jane Austen’s Emma, Aliza Licht’s Leave Your Mark, and Kate Bett’s My Paris Dream. I’m feeling the need for the motivational biographical read, with a little bit of travel envy (Paris or New York, either will do).

I read and finished off a new series by Jodi Meadows, and now I’m addicted to her and need to read the rest of her series. But that means that I didn’t get anywhere near the original list, especially since I read those in the last days of July.

Hopefully this month I’ll be a little bit better with reading, but I’ll be super busy prepping for September, I doubt I’ll get too much read.
