Smells Like Summer…

Rest and relaxation. Everyone needs that once in awhile. This weekend was exactly that for me.

Sleeping. Reading. Tanning. Cleaning. Not necessarily in that order.

I started and finished a book.

I organized my entire closet, and have clothes to donate to the Goodwill.

I organized my finances and my desk, so that I can see what is on it.

I chilled outside in the sun with my dog, and got a base tan.

I slept in!

I cooked my mom and my family Mother’s Day dinner. Nothing fancy, but it was something that my mom didn’t have to do.

Especially after my softball game. I stretched this time beforehand, so I didn’t die of cramping, but it was tough. I was frustrated because I didn’t know what to do, where to go, where to be. My knee killed pretty much the entire weekend, better on the Sunday. I have to start strengthening it more. They had me at 2nd base for two innings… I dislike that. Wrong place at the wrong time, every time. I told them that I want to be in a place that has less stress. It’s supposed to be fun, and I’m already prone to stress in games. I don’t like letting people down. And I feel like I do in that position. Hopefully I won’t be put back in it. Here’s to wishful thinking! The guys are really nice though, there’s one guy who just laughs at me. Undecided on whether it’s a good sign or a bad sign. Will keep updating on that.

Next game is Friday!

xoxo
