Wow – look who’s back!
It’s been a while since I sat down in front of my laptop and just wrote. Since I planned any kind of content for this space. I’ve been feeling majorly uninspired to sit down in front of my computer (even though I spend a lot of time still connected via my phone), and even less inspired to write anything. I barely write in my journal, my agenda, anything.
But I think that it’s time for me to start making the time for this again. Just a little bit of time a day in between all the other stuff and take it in small doses. I know I didn’t really post it on social media or anything but this big hit to my blogging really came when all of my hardware got stolen. While it was mostly just material stuff, I lost my hard drive with 10 years of content (photos etc) that I’ll never be able to get back and that hit me a lot harder than I’ve allowed myself to think about.
But, it’s time to start building it back up I think. It makes me sad and angry to think about still, but time to move on.
So, here I am. Back with a pretty cliche blogger post: my 2019 goals!
I can’t believe that January is already almost over, but I think that I’ve had a pretty good start to this year. I’ve got some pretty exciting news that I’ll be dropping over the next couple months, and a pretty exciting year coming up.
But my major goals?
- Keep up with the house maintenance! Right now, the house is really clean which I’m so proud of. And I’m wanting to keep it up. I’m finally coming to terms with the fact that staying on top of it helps in the long run.
- Get back into the penpal game. I feel like I have to say this every year and I start off strong and then by the end of the year I’m barely sending anything. I’ve got a couple things to get out in the mail ASAP now that the strike is over so that should get me back in the game!
- Keep up blogging. I’m not going to stress if I don’t make it to two posts a week. Life gets in the way, especially with kids! But I’m really going to try to get some more writing and photography done!
- I’m torn whether I should start vlogging with YouTube or just get into the whole InstaLive thing… I haven’t really tried Instagram’s TV or Live yet, but I do regularly use the stories. Once I figure that out, I’ll be trying to post more video content.
- Enjoy more and don’t stress. No matter what I’m just going to enjoy the journey and see what this year brings.
Nothing extremely groundbreaking in those goals, but it’s nice to have something written down to keep me on track (hopefully!).
What goals do you have, if any? Let me know!
