For once in my life, I’m actually excited for winter to come. I’m usually excited about it when I’m in a relationship, but that’s just because cuddling is totally a winter thing. I just think that I’m starting to get it. I need to stop focusing just on the fact that it’s cold, and how it totally sucks walking to the bus in the wind(chill). I think also, it’s exciting because Andrew is so excited. We have some exciting winter plans that we have to figure out a time when we can do it… But as long as it happens, I’ll be happy.
The best things about winter:
1. Cuddling by the fire.
2. Big, chunky sweaters
3. Hot chocolate with whipped cream
4. Wearing boots
5. My raccoon hat 😀
6. Skating on the Rideau River, eating a Beavertail!
7. Holidays (Christmas, birthdays)
8. Staying in my bed.
That’s one of the things that I’m looking forward too, going up to Andrew’s cottage in the winter. Trying to snowmobile. I can’t wait. I think I’m most excited about that. Even though the image in my head has yet to ever turn out in reality, I’m still hopeful.
