So the first weekend in June was pretty dismal. It rained. Or was grey. Or cool. Not at all like it was during the week. Kind of depressing, but it was good weather to get things done on the inside. It would have been great for some DIY time, but I couldn’t be bothered to get outta the house and go to the store, besides the fact that I can’t afford it!
Friday night, I went over for dinner at Andrew’s house, which is good. If I didn’t, I probably wouldn’t eat dinner/vegetables ever. It’s so bad, but it’s hard to make food for one person. I hate it. And I waste so much food because I can really only cook 3 days out of the week. But regardless, we then watched some Game of Thrones [because we’re really quite behind…] and then we went to my place.
He left early Saturday morning to go to work, which had me up early. This weekend was terrible for sleeping in, but that the sacrifice for having Andrew over. It also means that I have time to do more during the day. I did cleaning, and dishes, did a little organizing, put the fuzzy pads under all my chairs so they don’t scrap the floors, and then I floated around on the internet. I was literally going stir crazy in the house though. I wanted to be outside, even though it was raining. I wanted to go OUT. Andrew being the best boyfriend ever, made it happen. We went out for a rollerblade, even though it was wet, and there was a chance of rain. It was so nice, we went down to the Lakeshore, and glided along. I decided that we should head back because I was getting tired, and my ears were freezing. So we decided to head to the bar, get some food and play some pool. It was soo good to play again. I’ve missed it. I think that I might try to get out to the pool hall a little more regularly. I kicked some major ass. It was a great night, even though we probably stayed out a little too late.
Sunday morning, Andrew and I were up at 7.30? I had to drop him off, and then I decided that I wasn’t going to go back to bed. I watched infomercials, and Arthur and then started actually cleaning. I opened and emptied a couple more boxes, started putting away DVDs and organizing my shelf. I put away scrapbook stuff, while thinking about how I should actually be scrapbooking. I watched a couple 80’s movies [Say Anything, The Breakfast Club]. I made a list of things that I need to get to help me organize the apartment. And then I headed over to Andrew’s for dinner. Only to get piled with organizing his tax stuff for him. I’m such a good girlfriend.
