Now that le boyfriend is out of town, my weekend life is rather uneventful. I don’t really go out anywhere, I don’t really see anyone, and my life is consisting of creeping around on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, and drinking tea. Throw in the occasional homework, and that’s my weekends.
Friday night started out as most uneventful ones do. I’ve taken to watching Japanese Dramas again (haha, so, so awesome) with a cup of tea. I laugh and laugh because they’re hilarious, and usually I’ve read the manga. I was so pumped to see that my favvvvvourite manga has been turned into a drama. Right now, it’s only the Taiwanese version (annoying because they change the names so it’s hard for me to follow) so I’m waiting not so patiently for the Japanese release. I also watched the new Miyazaki film, Arrietty. So cute. I’ve never seen the Borrowers, but seeing how he changed Howl’s Moving Castle from the book, I’m thinking it’s not that much alike. But then again, I might be very wrong. But to me, anything Miyazaki does is amazing. Bar none. Totally want to go to his museum… One day.
Saturday I headed into Buffalo with Bridget (more pics and details here) and was pleasantly surprised by the savings that I found (especially since the dollars are so close to par). Found some stuff for my brother and Andrew, and lots of stuff for me… that Andrew will enjoy… *cough*.
Sunday was spent cleaning, talking online with Andrew, doing homework, talking with Andrew… and not getting to bed on time. Which made me very tired and rushed in the morning.
