Toronto :: Walking Queen St.

Iconic Queen St in Toronto – a perfect Saturday of shopping, browsing, and exploring.

Is there really anything better than getting out into your city and walking around [almost] aimlessly? I spent the day along Queen St in Toronto on Saturday – the weather was perfect, everything was open, people were out on the streets and patios.

I was in the area because I wanted to pick up some things and check out a couple shops – Holika Holika, Te Koop, pick up Gala tickets. I hopped on the street car to Spadina where I popped into a whole bunch of stores along Queen until I got to University and picked up the gala tickets at the Ballet Box office.

It’s All Grk Gyro – It was amazing!! Fries on top… OM NOM.
And then I began the long trek [almost] home. I made it to Ossington before decided to hop on the streetcar to home. Although the one I jumped on didn’t go all the way home – I had to take a twenty minute more walk home. Totally worth it though!
