Summer nights, festival lights.
I’m so, so excited to be going to a couple concerts this summer. A couple years ago I made it a bit of a mission to get to more concerts, and I’ve been lucky enough to go to at least one a year now.
While live music has never really been my thing (it can either be amazing or so, so bad), I enjoy the atmosphere. I love knowing that I’m in a crowd of people that are all there for the same reason: To see an artist perform songs that you love.
This summer, I’m so pumped to being going to my first music festival though! Andrew, a bunch of our friends, and I are getting together to go to Way Home – the 3 day music festival, by the creators of Bonnaroo. The line up is HUGE. I don’t know a lot of the artists, but Sam Smith and Hozier are at the top of MY list of performances to see. We’re doing the whole, RV camp thing – so we’ll be travelling in style. I am so pumped. I know so many people going, and it looks like it’ll be an amazing time.
I’m also going to the Jason Aldean concert in September!!! I love Jason Aldean, he’s a country singer and I can listen to his albums on repeat all day, every day. He’s playing at the Molson Amphitheatre on September 17. I don’t really like the Amp for concerts, and we have lawn seats, but the music will be so good. Just so far away that there won’t be many pictures, that’s for sure!
Will you be heading to any of these? I’m also tempted to head to Bestival to see Florence + the Machine, but we’ll see about that. Gotta rebudget everything out still!
