There’s nothing better than spending the day with my mom. and spending it at the Royal is such a tradition for us.
Over the year, we’ve gone with groups, other people, close friends, family, and loved ones. But we always go together, and we make sure that we can go together. Especially now that she works on weekends, so we have to make extra sure now.
This year I had nothing in mind to buy, gifts or otherwise. I have no need to any more horse equipment, and I didn’t see anything that jumped out at me that I needed to buy stat. I did buy food though. Hmm cookies, fudge, afternoon tea and rosti!
Of course, one of the highlights of the show is seeing all of the animals and some of the events with them! We sat and watched adorable goats doing agility [did you know you could train a goat?], rabbit jumping tiny little fences, and then it was the Superdogs! It’s always so great to see the tricks you can teach a dog, I can’t wait to do that with mine!
