It seems like now that I’m interested in marriage, can see it happening, I’m surrounded by people who are getting married/already married. It’s crazy how I swung from one end of the spectrum to the other, in what seemed like a heartbeat. Crazy how much one boy has changed it all for me.
But I digress. I was talking with three of the girls in my accounting class that are roughly around my age, and one of them is already married! She’s also the youngest one (at 21) and has been married for a year. Crazy to think about it. Still can’t imagine myself married at 20, but married by 25 is seeming more and more doable. One of the other girls is around 26, and getting married in the spring. For me, that seems to be a better age. (Obviously, as I am older than 20 now…). There are a lot of people that I know that got married straight out of college (or younger..) and now are starting families. Or started families and now are getting married.
Crazy! Facebook just told me that one of the girls that I know, who is married just had her first child. Ahhhh it makes me feel old, and behind the times. Even though I definitely don’t want children (right now)… Strange how that has changed as well. Damn boy. 😉
