So I thought I would have my LuxeBox update ready for today, but ended up not having any time to take pictures/write it up. Life is getting a little crazy as my accounting course is coming to an end, I’m starting to realize that I’m going to need to get my ass in gear for the next semester (and my last test). It’s crazy how fast time is going by, I’m going to stress myself out thinking about the future and time.
Once this course is done, I’m going to be upping my workload by taking 2 courses a semester, plus working full time, trying to keep up a social life, and horseback riding lessons. I think that the social life might be sacrificed a little bit, in order to keep up the grades. I floated by this semester, doing only what was necessary, and even though I’m passing, I’m not impressed with my work ethic. Gotta step my game up.
I’m chalking it up to the fact that I’ve been out of the school-life for so long that it’s taking me a bit to get back into it. I was never one to enjoy and work hard at school, and college definitely didn’t help. If anything, college made me worse at keeping up with my school work. My balance of work < social is greatly unbalanced. I’ve already told Andrew that I won’t be able to see him as much in the new year. I don’t think he really believes me, but I’m going to make it happen. When I think about everything in the new year that I have listed to accomplish, it’s enough to make me panic! Thankfully it’s not something that has to be done all in the first month, I can spread it out amongst the 12.
