Relationship :: Laughing Ourselves to Sleep

Via Tumblr.

Sometimes, being in a relationship is the perfect way to end the night. I was a bit snappish all day with Andrew, and feeling the stress of school and timing, and balancing visiting him with staying home with Kumo.

I did decide to go over to his house last night to spend the night, and I arrived after the Real Housewives of Vancouver [guilty pleasure!]. 11.30, pulling into the drive only to find that he has 3 friends over and are filling the entire driveway. Clearly not going to bed anytime soon. I always enjoy hanging out with his friends, and I think they like me too.

But I think the best part of the night was when we finally made it to bed, and had an absolute laughing fit [more on my side than his, I think he was laughing at my laugh]. It started because he was tickling me, and then it went into our talking about how old we are. And we’re so old. We were saying that we never go out, and how he’s excited to know that I’m already asleep so that he can sleep. The thing that made me die with laughter was during this conversation, I finished talking and Andrew was like, “What were we talking about?”  How old is that! He makes me laugh so much, it’s awesome.

Sometimes laughter is the balm that fixes everything and makes everything look better and brighter.
