Can you believe that it’s been two years already? Time just flies, and how appropriate that a week after our 2nd anniversary, we’re taking that next step and moving in with each other.
While we never really plan anything in advance, I did know that I wanted to get dressed up and go out for dinner. Nothing super fancy, of course, because I had a test that day [boo] but it was online so I could do it before we went out.
After the dreaded test, we headed out to Boston Pizza for some dinner, some romantic time alone after a busy weekend of not spending to much time together. It’s so easy being with him, although sometimes I still feel that first date awkwardness. He’s such a sweetheart, even though he had to write my card right before he gave it to me, but at least he gave me a card.
It’s a little nerve-wracking because I’ve never had a relationship last longer than 2 years, and we’ve just hit that mark. I’m trying not to be so in my head about it, because otherwise I’ll start overthinking things. But on the plus side is that this is the first time that the next step is actually happening, and that I’m ridiculously excited for it to happen. I definitely think that this is the first time that I’m excited for our life together. And really wanting it!!
