So my fabulous Oscar plan was an epic fail, as my mother was busy. So I went over to Andrew’s for dinner and then came home to watch the Oscars, alone. With a cup of tea, manga, and my cat. And I was texting my mom throughout the Oscars about the show, and how much we loved who won what, etc. Anne Hathaway, I will always love you. Jennifer Lawrence was adorable last night! Made me actually like her more.
While I was a little sad that Les Mis didn’t take everything, and that Hugh Jackman didn’t win [he’s such a nice man, he looked genuinely happy for Daniel Day Lewis], but overall I was pleased with the Oscars. Seth McFarlane was actually decent, I like him, even if I’m not a huge fan of Family Guy.
This weekend seemed like it just zoomed by. Between waking up semi-late on Saturday and then spending the rest of the day working on homework, to Sunday waking up at a decent time and zooming to the barn party and then Oscars, there was little time for anything else. But on the plus side, I got 80% of my project done and completed, just needs a little bit of editing out, and I got my discussion up and posted. I’ll be doing a bit of a school update this week, so won’t say to much now!
