Recap :: Weekend No. 41

A perfect Fall day
Ahhh, this weekend couldn’t have come at a better time. Between Fran being on vacation, orders coming in every hour, phones ringing off the hook, school assignments due, I was ready for my own vacation.

But luckily enough, it was a long weekend looming ahead, teasing me with it’s not so closeness. It was great in many ways. Andrew came home! I didn’t have to work or go to school! I went up to the cottage for turkey dinner! I went pumpkin picking!

The pumpkin patch
It was nice, not as many people up at the cottage as I thought it would be. Just his family, no grandparents. For the actual turkey dinner, his mom’s cousin dropped by and so there were 7 of us, instead of just 5. Always nice, more food gets eaten! Mm I am in love with his mom’s caesar salad dressing though, she makes it from scratch, and it’s soo soo delicious. Makes me crave it just thinking about it.
Anyways, it was a chill weekend, spent watching movies, eating food and catching up on sleep. We went for a very coold boat ride to see a couple friends and froze. Haha, it was cold up at the cottage this weekend! Fall is definitely here.
It was an awesome day for pumpkin picking too, bright sunny yet cold. It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to carve it and roast the pumpkin seeds. Mm.. yummy!
