Recap :: Weekend No. 2

The only picture from this weekend…

Busy busy busy! I can’t really say that this weekend was amazingly productive. I ended up doing nothing around my house. I was actually out for most of the weekend, which is not what I usually do.
Friday, I headed to Sherway to hunt down a pair of shoes. They didn’t have my size, and they turned out to be more expensive than I was willing to pay. I would have paid for them if they were $50, but not when they were $80. I just couldn’t justify that cost. Defeated, I went to grab a coffee, and imagine my surprise, the girl working behind the counter was an old classmate from college! We had a bit of a chat, but she was working so I didn’t stay for long. I ended up staying at the mall a great deal longer than I had intended, because I sat on a bench to drink my coffee, eat my slice of poppyseed loaf, and read some of my book. I then get a text from Andrew saying that we’re going out tonight, and we’re going to be meeting some of Dennis’ school buddies. That kind kicks me in the butt to at least get my ass home, so I mosey home and get ready. We end up chilling at Adam’s house for the night, and not meeting up with anyone. All dolled up with nowhere to go. I guess that’s alright. I did have a good time though.

Saturday was a little bit of the same. Andrew got mad at me because I forgot that I had to drive him home and didn’t get up in time to drop him off before my dentist appointment. Fail, I ended up cracking a filling, so I got that filled, but he was all bitter because he had to walk home. We did eventually make up, but still made for a bit of an annoying start to the morning. I got grocery shopping done, and then I headed to a different mall this time. Yorkdale! I was lazy and ended up driving. The parking lot was terrible, but I did find a spot fairly quickly. I went through, bought the things I wanted from Anthropologie, and tried on 8-9 different pairs of pants until I finally found one. So many sales!!! Very tempting, but I managed to spend under $40 while I was there. I’m super impressed with myself. A relaxing night in with Andrew, and bed early!

Sunday was more of the same, I met up with Briana for coffee over books and then a quick lunch and some more shopping. No more shopping for me this month! I’ve filled my cap in 2 days. Sigh, why must it be so addictive! Sadly, I wasted so much time at Walmart waiting for my prescription to be filled, and did a little bit of damage there. Ah well, it was all things that I needed. So I’m a little excited about that. Walmart, you totally just empty my wallet, all the time! I did actually get my laundry put away, so I’m happy about that.

This turned into a really wordy post… And I have absolutely no pictures.. Fail blogger. Happy Monday though!
