Well here we are. The first weekend completed in 2014. And it was great. I got things done that have been sitting around just waiting to be done. Not completely finished, of course, but sometimes you just need to take a break.
This weekend was interesting. Friday was a bit of a bang since I was back at work again and everyone was going out to celebrate a friend’s birthday [post to come this week].
Saturday, Andrew didn’t work so we actually got the entire apartment cleaned. Yes, it does seem like the only thing we do in that place is clean. But I’m working on making it easier and not always such a big mess. It’s tough because as much as Andrew complains about me being the messy one, he is just as bad. But we got everything almost put away in the back room/office, and now just have to organize the crazy amounts of paper. It is just never-ending. While we didn’t go out that night for another friend’s birthday, being way to tired after cleaning, we stayed in and watched some Breaking Bad. We finally finished the 2nd season! Now onto the 3rd! Repeat for Sunday.
One random thing that happened this weekend, I found most of my jewellery. So that means I have some more rings to wear, and perhaps I might throw on a necklace for work. Maybe.
