October to December OwlCrate Unboxing | Stationery

This was going to be a big dump for past OwlCrates that I’m super behind on posting about.

But I decided that I had way too many that I was behind on so I decided to break it down into a couple of posts. It’s a little crazy that I’ve neglected to post about the OwlCrate boxes that I’ve been getting the past couple months.

October “Lost in the Bookstore”

October Lost in the Bookstore OwlCrate books - Shadow of the Fox and Pride

This box, being ‘Lost in the Bookstore”, had an amazing surprise of including two books! The books, Pride by Ibi Zoboi and Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa are pretty different, but they look amazing. Shadow of the Fox is one that I was pretty excited to get (I’d seen it around social media) and it seems pretty well liked. Who doesn’t enjoy a Pride and Prejudice retelling? I love that story in all of its many forms, and I’m sure that this will be no exception.

This box had a pair of socks and canvas clutch/book bag that are probably the winners for me out of this box. The socks are super comfortable and I actually really enjoy adding more socks to my drawer. And the clutch is the perfect size for books, but I use it as a diaper bag insert. It fits newborn diapers and wipes perfectly. It’s a nice way to organize the diaper backpack and keep Eli’s stuff separate from Kaiden’s.

November “Rise From The Ashes”

November Rise from the Ashes OwlCrate book Girls Of Paper and Fire

This month’s book was “Girls of Paper and Fire” by Natasha Ngan. I’m loving the fact that it’s something completely different, plus the cover of this book is stunning.

I love when the boxes have stickers, and when they’re Harry Potter themed. They immediately go either on my planner or one of my many laptops! This month also featured an amazing wax seal kit, which I immediately used for all of my Christmas cards.

December “Power of Illusions”

December Power of Illusions OwlCrate book Amber and Dusk

“Amber & Dusk” by Lyra Selene sounds intriguing! I’m always up for a little magic in my books!

Candles are always amazing in these (even though I find myself forgetting to actually use them!) This month also had a reading planner which I also haven’t gotten around to using, but should to keep track for my reviews online.

A link to all the past OwlCrate boxes and links to all the items can be found here. I have not even cracked these books open yet. Honestly, I have to be the worst about getting new books and actually reading them.

What do you think of these books and boxes?
