So, this happened months ago but here it is finally. This is how terrible a blogger I have been. This event happened back in August, during the Canadian National Exhibition. It’s an awesome Toronto annual event that I do try to make it out to every year. This year, not going to the actual Exhibition portion or getting any cool foods, I just made it out for the musical events that were happening.
This was the first year that I’ve ever been to the bandshell, and I have to say that this year’s bands were a great pick! I only made it out to Theory of a Deadman, due to terrible weather for the other ones that interested me. Dragonette was another headliner to which it rained and no one wanted to come out with me, and then there was the night of Danny Fernandes, Massari, and Mia Martina, to which it also poured down rain. I ended up just staying in and watching a movie.
But the night of Theory of a Deadman was chilly but sunny and clear. Perfect! I went with Briana and Dennis and then headed up to the cottage for the long weekend right afterwards. I definitely would love to see Theory again some day! They were awesome, Tyler is absolutely gorgeous, and it was nice to see them actually interact with the audience, making conversation with us. It was really interesting, and they played so much good music. It was a great night, made even better by heading up to the cottage right away!
