This was really exciting because this is another movie that I won tickets to, courtesy of SheDoesTheCity!
For those who don’t know, this movie is about a girl about to graduate high school who is so straight-laced that she hasn’t done anything sexual. She decides that she’s going to make a sexual to-do list of all the things she needs to accomplish before heading to college.
It’s also set in 1993 so there’s amazing throwback images for all of us that grew up in that time. VHS movies, 90210 [the original], Full House, it’s awesome. Plus Sega!
I know that this movie got not-so-good reviews in our local paper, but trust me, it was hilarious. I definitely have added this to my list of favourite movies. She does some really embarrassing things that make you definitely cringe, but it’s so funny. Plus, it’s a great cast. Andy Samberg and Bill Hader make it hilarious, Rachel Bilson plays a great bitchy older sister, and Christopher Mintz-plasse…. You are hilarious.
I think that there are some great one-liners in it, as well as a favourite of mine, “Welcome to Thunderdome, bitch!” so it was a winner in my eyes. Briana and I cried, we were laughing so hard.
