Movie :: For A Good Time Call…

Via Tumblr.

Ah, Ari Graynor. How you make me laugh. She’s not really in much [as a leading lady] but she is great. This movie is a great chick flick. It’s a comedy, but like my brother said, I don’t really remember laughing out loud, more just smiling in understanding. And it made me wistful for the good old girl friendship. But honestly, what doesn’t make me wistful for that?

The general premise is that 2 girls that have nothing in common other than a friendship with Justin Long [who plays a gay guy and is amazing, love him] and hating each other are practically forced to live together due to a lack of money in order to pay expensive rents in New York. In order to make the money that is needed to live there, as one girl is currently unemployed and searching for a job, they start a call service. And make a lot of money. And become super close friends. But there are always bumps along the road, and a falling out.

But it’s a good rom-com movie, even if at times the humour is crude. But that seems to be the way chick flicks seem to be going these days.
My rating: 3/5 stars!
