Life :: Travel to Disneyworld Orlando – Day 3

Our last day at the actual parks! We made it to Hollywood Studios, Downtown Disney, and Magic Kingdom; of course ending our trip with the firework show.

We started the day out at Hollywood Studios. We ran towards the Tower of Terror, so that we could beat the lines (although we still waited for about 40 minutes). Tower of Terror, is my favourite drop kind of ride. This one was even slightly different from the one in Paris. It had more movement, which was cool. We did most of the rides, and because the movie Cinderella was about to come out, they even had the golden carriage where you could take pictures in front of it. As we walked by, we saw a guy proposing to his girlfriend. Andrew and I joked about posting a joke picture on Facebook, but really the joke would be on me – not actually being engaged. Poor Jasmine.

After walking around for most of the morning at Hollywood Studios, we headed over to Downtown Disney for some lunch and to check out the 5 story arcade. We played some retro arcade games for about an hour and a half (but I probably could have played for much longer) until we decided that we should probably head over to the Magic Kingdom. The final destination, the main attraction.

It’s so much fun at night. The lights are so pretty, and the rides are a little scarier during the night. And of course, the firework show! Always so extravagant, but so worth the wait and the stand. It was interesting to see the differences between Orlando and Paris, it’s nice to know that they do customize the shows to suit where and anything special happening in the park. Of course, there was a huge push on the Frozen side of things, but I like that they bring back some of the old school classics to it, like Beauty and the Beast.

It was such a great trip, nice to get away for a couple days, see some sunshine, and have fun without worrying about school. Although it took me almost 3 months to finish posting about it! Have you been to any of the Disneyworld/lands? Next on my list is probably going to be California, but who knows, Asia’s might happen first!
