Ugh.
Life kinda sucks right now. I’m coming to terms with the fact that I’m a complete shopaholic who doesn’t have the budget for it. I know better that I won’t get into debt because of it, but it is a very thin line that I’m walking.
Money is tight right now. Paying off a car is tough business, even when it’s your mom that you’re repaying. [Which is totally awesome, as there is no pesky interest] Totally sucks the bank account dry. I’m paying more than I technically can afford to because I want the debt gone. ASAP. I want need to have this car paid off before I move out. I can’t go into a new place with debt hanging over my head. Well, I won’t. I have to be responsible. But I have a deadline, as my parents are selling the family home and downsizing. So, I’m taking this opportunity to get my ass outta the house.
I’ve been searching, looking up apartments. I found a couple which I have to go and check out in person, and find out the details. I’m kinda guessing at how much they’re gonna cost me a month, and so I’ve been doing my life budget, and… I’m coming up short. I’ll have literally no money for anything once all the essentials are added up [food, rent, school, savings, transportation] that I’m definitely going to have to even cut my phone bill down. I have no money for cable, or internet. Wow, this is slightly depressing. Haha. I needs ma internets! *cries* Being an adult sucks. Hence why I’m looking for a second job.
This post has kind rambled and gone off tangent… Point of the story is that I have no money for extra shopping. Or any shopping. That involves fashion. It sucks because I have soooo much that I want to buy.
A few of the blogs that I read daily are also talking about this… Pretty and Fun is going on a spending freeze for 3 months, and I think I’m going to join her. I’m making a few changes though. I’m also going to make a list, but I’m going to allow myself ONE purchase a month from that list. Within a budget. Because I have so much to pay for on a regular basis, I’ve got to make some changes. And it has to start now, before I move out.
