Living dairy free is so damn hard.
I have switched to goat’s milk for most things, and luckily it tastes exactly the same. I haven’t even noticed any difference in how it makes my tea taste. Phew.
But it’s so tough. Every day I’m given choices, and I’m completely disregarding it. “Oh yes, bacon cheeseburger for me please”, or “mmm chocolate”, or even caving this morning on having a hot chocolate/coffee. It’s easy at home. I don’t really eat dairy at home. It’s all the hours that I spend out.
I guess I should say that I’ve definitely cut down the amount of dairy that I’ve been ingesting. It’s not completely out of my diet, but it’s definitely down. I’m going to try a couple more things for it, and then see where I end up!
